SUBJECT GOD BLESS AMERICA?? DON'T COUNT ON IT!![3]

Last month, when I left off, I was exposing the precarious position many people take, especially Christians, that, if you think about it, is an operation in futility, because they are actually going against God.

And, herein is the crux of the problems, this nation faces.

You see, it is Christians, that are to blame for this nation's rebellion towards God. It is not the homosexuals. It is not the women's movement. It is not the environmentalists, liberals, or any other group.

You might be saying, 'Now wait a minute, preacher. I remember reading a lot of your writings, where you blame these very people. Now, you are saying it is not their fault. What's up with that??'

Well, if you look at a lot of the people in these groups, they go to church, and sit under some pastor. So, they call themselves Christians. Therefore, when the ungodly see Christians, joining their numbers, they think they are doing something that God, evidently approves of. And why not?? Anything Christians support, gives people the idea that God, either approves, or has no opinion on it.

Look at the previously mentioned, abortion rights.

Do you know how many Christians, especially women, support the 'woman's right to choose??' By this, I am talking about, abortion.

Why do they support something that God hates?? It is because they, are catering to the flesh. They want to be supportive of other women. There is a sort of sisterhood, among all women. And as such, with all of the suffering, women have gone through, down through history, to inflict pain on another woman, is essentially, out of the question.

So, here is what we have. Christian women, who want to show their love for each other, compromise their beliefs, if they have any, for the sole purpose helping their friend, and actually ends up, putting not only the woman, but, herself, and those close to her, namely family, in jeopardy.

Any time, a Christian compromises their beliefs, to, help someone else, they not only do themselves a disservice, but, and here is the most serious part, they make God appear to be less than what He is, and that is Righteous.

How?? Because if the Christian is God's representative, to man, and they compromise on something, that God says, then they are giving the impression to those that hear them, that God, will compromise on what He says, and therefore is not as unchangeable as other Christians say He is.

This does not just fall on women, but, men as well.

As a result, people take a less critical view of the moral issues in this nation, because, they think God does. Then, they go out, and overlook a politician's stance on this, and other moral issues, votes them in to office, then the bottom falls out, in their lives, a marriage breaks up, a child dies, they lose their jobs, disease hits them, or some other calamity, and they wonder why.

The 'why', is because they have stepped outside of God's protective covering, in to the reaches of the curses of sin, which can be summed up in one word, death[Rom 6:23].

Death, as the bible describes it, is not just relegated to your physical life ending, but, carries with it, two other characteristics. The primary one being Spiritual death, which means, judgment, and hell. The other carries with it, the decrease of your health, wealth, income, storehouse, family, and other things that you have been blessed with. In other words, loss.

If we look at this nation as a whole, would you say there is a loss of things?? Things like jobs, prestige, money, houses, land, lives, power, peace of mind, independence, health, and other things that defined us as being the most powerful and blessed nation on the face of the earth??

Why??

America, has moved outside of God's protection, and is basically, on its own. And, the only way to get back under that protection, is by the simple process of repentance.

Repentance. The act of confessing your 'sin' to, and asking forgiveness from, God, and, here is the most important part, turning away from it. It does no good to ask God to forgive you for something, if you are not serious about it. And if you are not serious, then, God who knows your heart, will ignore you.

A lot of Christians today, as mentioned earlier, not only compromise on moral issues [which is sin], but refuse to repent, because they consider what others will think about their decision. After all, if you don't consider something to be wrong [sin], or think that God is not that rigid about our actions, then there is no need to repent. And since America, refuses to look at certain things as being sin, then, it will not repent, and there will be no blessing from God.

Now, of all the people in the church, just who does the responsibility fall on, to educate their people, as to what is right, and what is wrong[sin]??

Whomever is the leader of that church, namely the pastor. Show me a Christian that doesn't know what God has to say about something, and usually you can trace it back to a person that is, or has been their pastor.

The reason I say usually, is because, in some instances, the person, ignores what they have heard, from the pastor, if they are saying something the person doesn't agree with. What will usually follow, is that they will leave that church, and find one, and there are many out there, where the pastor is saying what the person wants to hear.

People have a habit of picking what church they want to join, like they pick what fruit to buy, in a market. They, look at it, they taste it[listen to one or two sermons], and, if they like it, they choose it.

Then sometimes, year later, when they hear the Truth of the Word of God, they refuse to accept it. And thus, will not support any thing, or anyone, that promotes views contrary to what they want to believe. And, now you can begin to see the problem this nation is facing, when these same misguided people, become leaders, politicians, presidents, and other big influences on others. They promote the idea that we can all do what we want to do, and there is no consequence. And since human nature, is one that seeks its own satisfaction, and independence, then, any thing, or any one, that stands in the way of that goal, is the enemy. Even if that enemy is God.

Therefore, they begin a sort of undeclared 'war' against Him. Anything He says, they reject. Any one that speaks out against their foolishness, they attack. They believe, because of what their pastors, or other Christians that support their views, that they aren't doing anything wrong, and that those that are telling the Truth, are the real problem.

I heard a nationally known black preacher, on his radio show, in response to a statement by a group of people, in a march in Washington, saying 'We need to get back to God', tell his listeners, 'You got to watch these people, that bring God in to the picture.' Well, this same preacher, when asked, 'What do we need to do, to turn the black community, and this nation around??' His response was everything but, 'We need to get back to God.'

Once again I have to remind you, Jesus speaking, 'I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. [St. John 15:5]'

Do you see the underlined part?? Without Christ [His permission, blessing], we can do nothing.

Therefore, this nation is not going to get anywhere, as long as it refuses to repent of its ways, and change directions.

When we have a nation that embraces all of the abominable things that man can dream up, like abortion, gay rights[marriage], churches ordaining actively gay clergy, is steeped in idolatry, promotes compromise with other religious beliefs, and actively tries to shut down any voice that challenges it, or them, in direct defiance to God, then you can continue to expect things to go down the tube.

We are living in what the bible describes as, 'the last days.' For anyone to believe that there is a way to get around what is coming, as spoken about in the bible, is an operation in lunacy.

The best thing we can do, is seek God, individually, through Jesus Christ. Notice, I said through Jesus Christ, not Islam, not Buddha, not Hare Krishna, not through Catholicism, not through Baptist doctrine, or any other Christian denominations, but through Jesus Christ, and Him only.

You can't even do it through God, or Allah. I know that sounds like a shock, but, that is the way God set it up. Php 2:8-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Since 'God', is a name, like 'Allah'. 'Buddha' and the rest, that means the name of Jesus, is above the name of 'God.'

People that believe, belief in God, is all that they need, take a look at this scripture, Jas 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

If we examine this scripture, a couple of things become evident. First, belief in, 'ONE GOD', shows good intelligence, because, the devils, believe. As a result, this belief in 'ONE GOD', is not going to save the devils, who, by the way, have seen God, so, if that won't save them, it will not save you. So, then, what is missing?? Recognition of Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, or God manifested in the flesh.

This brings in to reality the fact that, Jesus Christ, is even above the name of God, the Father, because that is the way the Father planned it. Anybody can claim the believe in God. But, not every one that believes in God, believes in what God did, in setting up the plan for our salvation. Everything hinges on Jesus Christ. Rejecting Him, means, despite what a person may claim, they are rejecting God.

In the case of this nation, that has a population consisting of many religious beliefs, the idea of somehow, incorporating, or accommodating these beliefs in to our national foundation, while at the same time, forbidding, or sharply curtailing worship of Christ, so that we won't offend those of other beliefs, puts us in to position of being cursed.

Since this nation, has decided to go down that path, it is just another sign of another nail in our 'coffin.'

However, try to tell people that, and you get attacked, from all sides, including from other Christians, as not being compassionate. Compassion, is one thing, foolishness, is another.

So, unless people, especially those that claim to be Christians, wake up, and start doing what God says we must do, to turn this nation around, then, pray all you want, sing all you want, but, there will be no blessings, for America.
