SUBJECT = WHICH CAMP ARE YOU IN??!! [PT 2]
Last month, I posed a question to those of you that call yourselves Christians. My reason for asking this question is quite simple. And that is, many of you that name the name of Christ, are actually doing things that, line up with those that are the enemies of the Christ you profess to love and serve.
Now the question must be asked, 'just how do I figure this to be the case, and if true, how did you get to this position??'
The answer, as I eluded to last month, is a slow progression away from the biblical teachings of the Word of God, as dictated in the Authorized King James Version [AKJV] of the bible.
The reason for this departure has to do with notion that according to many of us, the AKJV, was written by men who sought to impose their moral values on others by way of instilling the fear of eternal punishment, if we did not follow their rules.
For the black community especially, it came down to the idea that the AKJV, was written by the white man, to keep us in line. As a result, we started to first, pick and choose which parts of the AKJV we did not like and rejected them, while totally embracing those parts that we agreed with.
However, as time went on, and blacks began to embrace their blackness, and heritage, many began to revert to the idea that we needed to embrace the religion of the 'motherland', which today is primarily, Islam.
The problem then went a little further, when blacks, who stayed in the Christian faith, began to reject the idea that Christ was white, and began to produce paintings, and other images of Him as being black.
Like it or not, if your reason for accepting Christ, is based on the fact that He is black, then, your religion is in vain. If you believe that the AKJV, was written by man, as a means to rule over others, your religion is in vain. As good as it might seem to be, meaning no disrespect, if you are one that believes that Islam, or any other religion, is just as good as Christianity, then your religion is in vain.
Now, I know that that doesn't sit well with a lot of you, but, according to the AKJV,
that is the way it is, period. This bible says, among other things,
'no man can come to God the Father, but by Christ [John 14:6]!!
What this means is, there is a line drawn in the sand, so to speak, and when one chooses to cross it, then they have left the umbrella of the protection of Christ and ventured in to the camp of the enemy, where there is no protection, and therefore they are being slowly devoured by them.
What many of you are trying to do is put forth the notion that the AKJV can be edited, and partially rejected, and still allow you to be within the good Graces of the Father. And, as I mentioned last month, if you can do that with the AKJV, then other groups can do the same as well.
Most of us, don't like the idea of being called radical, fanatics, Holy Rollers, Jesus freaks, the religious right, or being persecuted in general, if we take a stance of being, what a lot of those outside of Christ, and even in Christ call, 'not showing the Love of Christ' or being intolerant of others that don't fit in to the mold of what our faith says is the only way to eternal life.
Let's look at the prime example of why we should take, what many would call a radical stance on our faith as given us in the AKJV.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, came to this earth at the direction of God the Father, to make a way for mankind to be reconciled back to God.
In order for Him to do this, He was going to have to shed His blood by way of the cross. This meant He would have to willingly sacrifice His life, at a predesignated time in order for this to happen.
Now, if you think about what Christ endured in order to fulfill all of what He was sent here to do, then you will see that He was crucified by the very ones [mankind] He was sent here to save.
The AKJV tells us, in great detail, among other things how He was lied on, beaten, had His beard ripped off His face, spat on, made a public mockery, made to endure all sorts of torture, and ridicule, for days before being nailed to the cross.
Now the question must be asked, why did they do this to Him???
The answer is simple. They did it because He told them the Truth about themselves.
The main ones that essentially murdered Him, were the 'religious leaders', and politicians of that day who, instead of leading the people to God, were actually setting themselves up as being gods over them, for the express purpose of gaining prestige, riches, and power. They were essentially operating in what is considered 'the flesh, or being carnally minded!!' Meaning they were more concerned about themselves, rather than what God said.
Christ became a threat to their plans when He began His ministry by calling them out in a scorching rebuke of their actions, when at one point He called them,
'whited sepulchers full of dead men's bones' [Matt. 23 entire].
This portrayal of Christ is largely ignored by many, for the express purpose that I mentioned earlier in that it does not present the image of the Christ many prefer to see Him as.
The Christ they see Him as is one that is politically correct, never speaking anything bad or discouraging to anyone. He accepts everyone that comes to Him, without them having to repent of their evil ways.
Those that hold a position in the Church as leaders, that hold this type of view, will usually avoid any scriptures that, when examined, would show them up for who they really are.
In fact, over the past few decades, many different translations of the bible have been printed where scriptures that are openly critical of what mankind is doing, have been either rewritten, or completely eliminated, once again, under the guise of showing the love of God, and getting rid of the hate.
Yet, the end result of their actions shows just how much they really do hate those that they profess to want to help.
How so??!!
If you consider the fact that, according to the AKJV, people that are living in a sinful life, without repenting, will end up in hell for eternity, when the die.
Christ came here to provide the path for all of us to end up in Heaven. Now, anyone who truly cares about the welfare of someone else, would not stand by and not let them know that what they are doing is going to lead to their destruction. The AKJV says, [Prv 27:6] Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
Yet, what many of us are doing, is exactly that!!! We don't want to hurt their feelings, or be persecuted for being mean spirited, and hateful, so we pat them on the back and make them feel like we are their friends, and that God understands.
What God understands is that we are compromising His message to the people. And, my friend, that is not only hazardous to them, but, to us as well. Because we are then walking contrary to what Christ told us to do.
I'll tell you. With some people that call them selves Christians, I would say they are christian [small 'c'] in name only. Every thing Christ says for us to do, they do the exact opposite.
Jesus warned us to stay away from people like this because they would become stumbling blocks to those that they were trying to lead, and both would end up in the ditch.
Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Are these people inherently evil?? For the most part, no. However, down through the years, they have been brainwashed, or conditioned to accept the wrong message, and have embraced it, thinking they are doing the will of Christ, when in reality, they are doing the will of the other player in the picture, that, once again, many don't even think about, and that is, the Devil.
Believe it or not, many Christians tend to completely ignore the idea that the Devil is real, or that if he is, he is irrelevant in how things are going.
Once again, the AKJV tells us that he is still active in this world, doing whatever he can to destroy us. [
John 10:10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: ?...
Look at that!!! That is talking about Satan, the Devil!!! Yet, whenever trouble comes our way, especially in the black community, we tend to put a white face on it, and call it racism. That could very well be, once in a blue moon. However, what is most likely the case, is that we have walked in to the camp of the enemy, and he is having a field day with us.
The crime, the killings, the drugs, the poverty, the illiteracy and all the rest, are not so much predicated on race, as it is, the Devil using us, and others to destroy us. Tell me, when there are more of us blacks killing other blacks, than whites killing us, then what type of lunacy is it to blame it all on racism???
The new area of blame is focusing on the police, specifically white officers. Over the past decade or so, more and more attention is focusing on white officers, shooting and killing unarmed blacks.
Black activists have adopted a slogan which says, 'Black lives Matter!!' They go around protesting the police. Yet, for every officer that kills an unarmed black person, over 50 unarmed men women and babies are killed by other blacks, and I don't see these activists going after them??
Ask some of these so-called leaders that have the title Reverend, and you can't get a straight answer out of them. They only show up when there is the killing of a black person by a white person. Then they are all over the news. I don't see them protesting in front of drug houses, or other places where crime festers.
This is because they are doing the will of their father, and not the Father!! As Jesus put it,
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
He, Christ went on to say, in the next verses, 'And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.'
If the Devil had tried to do what he has done over the decades, all at once, we would have seen it and avoided all these problems. But, because he did it a little here and a little there, we got lazy and now we are reaping the whirlwind. The AKJV says that we, Christians especially,
2Cor 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. We shouldn't be ignorant of them, if we are walking in the Spirit. Problem is, as I mentioned earlier, we have leaders that are Spiritually blind, and thus, have led us, or rather those of you to which it applies, in to the camp of the enemy, where you are being destroyed.
Examine yourselves today!! If you are willing to sit back, be neutral and say nothing about the spiritual condition of this nation, abortion, gay marriage, affirmative action, persecution of those that stand up for Christ publically, the filth that is on TV, in the movies, and blasted on radios and CD players, all of which, by the way the Democratic party supports, then friend, you are in the wrong camp!!
